I was always raised to believe that you shouldn’t laugh at other people’s misfortunes… But I do anyway, and thinking about it, that’s probably exactly why Karma is always there to give me a good old kick in the face.
Now, one person, who I couldn’t help but laugh at this week was poor old Jennifer Lawrence. You know exactly where I’m going with this one, – as she went to accept her Best Actress Award at the Oscars, she fell up the steps. Cringe!
Upon hearing her name announced as the winner, everybody secretly sat there and thought, well, she got caught on that chair, and then, her dress fell down last time she accepted an award, so, she’s got this one in the bag. Couldn’t have been more wrong!
Whatever will the most accident prone A-Lister do next? I’m edging my bets on something that involves setting fire to her couture trail… Well, you just never know!
From my own personal experience, I associate bad life events with outfits, so, whenever something goes terribly wrong, I chuck the clothes that I wore into the bin… Which isn’t actually the best idea seeing that I’m a rather unlucky person. At the very least, though, if I was her, I’d stay away from the ill fitting Dior next time.
